Volunteering at RNC
RNC is the UK’s leading further education college for those aged 16-65 with a visual impairment. We provide academic and vocational qualifications as well as specialist learning and residential support to empower our students and trainees to move into further education, employment, self-employment and independent living.
The Volunteer Process
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer at RNC, we ask that you fill in the RNC Volunteer Application Form attached in the word document below and return to email@example.com
We would also need you to provide two references and a DBS (Disclosure and Barring) check.
When we have received your application form, and your DBS and references have been checked, a member of our HR department will contact you to discuss your area of interest.
Before becoming a volunteer at RNC you will be invited to attend an induction training course which will cover the basics of how to offer sighted guide assistance, health and safety.
If you have any questions about volunteering at RNC then please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01432 265 725 and ask to speak to the HR team.
