Designing environments for people with a visual impairment
Quality design matters
We know how to ensure that shared space and other internal and external environments are as safe and inclusive as possible for people who are visually impaired.
Our expertise takes us around the world and we have the skills, experience and networks to coordinate major projects right up to city-scale.
Our access and design team is based at the Hereford campus of the Royal National College for the Blind (RNC), the country’s leading provider of education and training for people with a visual impairment, with over 140 years experience.
We also have a wide network of people who are themselves visually impaired and are experts by experience of all qualities of urban design.
