Sport at RNC
One of the great things about coming to RNC is the opportunity it provides for making new friends, developing your social confidence and having new experiences that support your personal development outside the classroom.
You can play sports outside of college time or during your timetabled learning and leisure sessions.

Boccia is suitable for all levels of fitness and is particularly good for those who may have limited mobility – View the VI Boccia Facebook gallery
Cricket can be played as a leisure activity and there are options to play at tournaments across the country.
In 2014, Sport and Recreation Trainee Elyse became the RNC’s first ever female cricketer for the England Ladies Blind Cricket squad.
In 2015 the RNC Bulldogs VI Cricket Club won the South West development league.
Every Monday to Thursday you will have the option to attend a student-led exercise class which can be anything from circuit training to Pilates. Select the Word document below to view the weekly exercise schedule.

Football, Goalball and Golf can be played as a leisure activity or at a more competitive level through our the RNC Sports Academy
The RNC campus is home to thePoint4, an international Paralympic, leisure and fitness centre. Students have the option of using the private RNC student gym or the fitness suite open to members of the public. Both are fully accessible and equipped with a mixture of cardio-vascular and resistance machines and free weights; all Inclusive Fitness Initiative (IFI) accredited
The College has strong links with Hereford Judo partners, giving students the opportunity to attend weekly Judo sessions and enable them to engage in this safe, close-combat martial art
In 2014 RNC became the first location in the UK to trial VI netball
As a student at RNC you can request to have your own student personal trainer, they will work with you to achieve your goals and create a programme that suits you
