All staff at RNC share an objective to help keep young people and vulnerable adults safe. We believe that the Safeguarding of all RNC students has paramount importance and we have a zero tolerance of abuse and other harmful behavior. RNC recognises its responsibility to prevent unsuitable people working with children and is committed to ensuring safer recruitment of staff and volunteers. In line with the Counter-Terrorism and Security Act 2015, RNC recognises its responsibility within the Prevent Duty to be aware of and, where appropriate, act to ensure the safety of all students from radicalisation and extremism.
We believe in creating a supportive environment that enables students to be able to speak out, and that staff should be empowered to promote safe practice and challenge poor and unsafe practice.
