RNC Brings a Little Christmas Cheer

It’s been a tough time on campus this year for students and staff alike, as they got to grips with the new way of studying, working and living in a Covid secure way. However, this hasn’t stopped them thinking of others during the pandemic.

Residential Support Officers (RSOs), Jude Reid and Jo Mason, decided to organise a collection of simple gifts and non perishable items to make up some festive hampers.

Supported by many staff and students, the items were collected up and sent to the Salvation Army to distribute to those in need this Christmas.

We hope hope this small act will lift spirits and bring a little Christmas cheer to people whose lives are far from easy.

Merry Christmas from everyone at RNC!

Picture shows from L-R: Jude Reid (RSO), Nicole Corley (RNC student and student ambassador), Jo Mason (RSO) and Abdul Eneser (RNC student and co-chair of the Student Representative Group). They are all wearing masks and standing, socially distanced, outside the learning hub entrance. Boxes and bags containing the donations are on the ground in front of them awaiting collection.
