SES: Sport and Recreation courses

As a sport and recreation student you will have real experience of running the student gym and have all sorts of responsibilities which will include; meeting and greeting clients, setting up and setting down for fitness classes, structuring a fitness session, components of warming up and cooling down, programme designing, cleaning and maintenance.
Fitness Classes
Instructing fitness classes is a great way to develop confidence, communication skills, customer service, awareness of equality and diversity, health and safety and organisation guidelines.
There will also be occasions where you are asked to design specific ‘boot camp classes’ for different groups – you can read about this year’s sport and recreation students putting the Hereford Army Reserves through their paces
