Talented Athletes Scholarship Scheme (TASS)

We have a number of Sport England’s TASS student-athletes nominated by their national governing bodies and are proud to be the only further education college to have achieved TASS Delivery Site (TDS) status.

The Scheme helps student-athletes get the best from their sporting and academic careers, focusing on five key elements which include nutrition and strength and conditioning sessions. More information on TASS can be found at www.tass.gov.uk

TASS Dual Accredited Career Centre

In December 2021, RNC was formally recognised by TASS as a Dual Accredited Career Centre. The scheme highlight's the College's commitment to supporting student athletes, and allows athletes to reach their full potential in education alongside achieving success in their sport. In October 2024, we were thrilled to announce that RNC had retained its TASS Dual Career Site accreditation. By being part of this network, RNC is committed to providing top-notch support services, including physiotherapy, nutrition, lifestyle support psychology, strength and conditioning. This accreditation aligns with Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson's vision of prioritising the welfare, wellbeing, and education of young athletes.
