29 May | Ride London-Essex 100
29/05/2022 00:00:00
Three great supporters of The Royal National College for the Blind, including an ex-principal, take on the gruelling official Ride London-Essex on 29 May 2022, to raise funds for the charity in its milestone 150th year.
Andrew Davis, Sheila and Bill Tallon are taking part in the world's greatest festival of cycling, starting and finishing in central London.
They are doing this to raise vital funds for RNC which has had a really challenging couple of years getting through the pandemic. The staff and young people have pulled together to avoid disruption to studies and to make sure their futures are not defined by what will, hopefully, turn out to be, a short lived but very difficult pandemic for all concerned.
Andrew Davis
is an experienced cyclist who completed Lands End to John O'Groats for RNC in 2021.
Sheila Tallon and her husband Bill
are both keen amateur cyclists and like to train on the gruelling hills of the Costa Blanca and the Malverns.
