Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III
Staff and students of the Royal National College for the Blind share sincere congratulations to His Majesty King Charles III on the occasion of his Coronation.

The Royal National College for the Blind is proud to have held a long connection with the Royal Family.
Queen Victoria was the College's original Patron in 1873, with HRH the former Prince of Wales, taking up the patronage in 1997.
In 1979, Prince Charles paid a flying visit to Hereford to informally re-open the College following its move from Shrewsbury to Hereford. It literally was a 'flying' visit as the former Prince of Wales piloted his own helicopter to attend the 90 minute visit.
More recently, in December 2022, His Majesty King Charles, attended the College to celebrate its 150th anniversary. It was the King's first visit to the West Midlands region and we were honoured to host him.
We send our warmest congratulations to His Majesty King Charles III and Queen Camilla on the occasion of the Coronation. We are honoured to have him as our patron and we wish Their Majesties every success in their continued dedication to the British people.
