'A truly memorable and inspirational day'

We welcomed some very important guests to the College in early March when we held a VIP lunch. The event was an opportunity to show our gratitude to supporters, dignitaries and friends for their valuable contributions to the College.
Our 50 or so visitors were treated to a tour of the campus to showcase the facilities, and to see our students in action. Students demonstrated how they learn in an accessible way, whether studying A Levels or vocational courses, and how they are taught essential skills through lessons in mobility, accessible technology, Braille and independent living skills, illustrating that there are no barriers to employment or university or to living a full, independent life.

We received so many wonderful comments following the event. Here’s just one:

The occasion gave our students a chance to showcase their learning in front of a wider audience, and guests left feeling positive and inspired by the wonderful work being done at the College.
