Massage students gain valuable professional development
A group of RNC Massage and Complementary Therapies students paid a visit to the Cotswold Academy, based in Cirencester, in November.
Pictured: The full group of Massage students, their teachers Jim and Antonia, along with Chris and his team of therapists from the Cotswold Academy. Lennon the guide dog is also pictured standing at the front of the group.
Meeting with Chris, the
Cotswold Academy
owner, and other experienced therapists, they discussed the intricacies of self-employment, which provided the students with an understanding of the challenges and rewards associated with running a successful therapy clinic.
Following the discussion, Chris and his team conducted an engaging workshop focused on postural assessment of the lower back and various treatment techniques.
The students actively participated in the workshop, gaining hands-on experience and valuable professional development.
The evening provided an excellent collaborative experience, exchanging ideas and knowledge, and the group were really grateful for the opportunity to learn from such experienced professionals. For more details on the courses on offer at RNC visit the courses page
