RNC began the day in style, thrashing Roma 9-0 in the morning fixture. Eesa Amjid was on fire, finding the net an impressive five times. Azeem Amir also had a stellar performance, bagging a hat trick, while Roy Turnham added another goal to complete the rout.
The afternoon clash against Borussia Dortmund proved to be a different story. In a very competitive and physical game, Roy Turnham rose to the occasion, scoring both goals for RNC Hereford to secure a convincing 2-0 victory.
These decisive wins solidify RNC Hereford's dominance at the top of the table. With a perfect record of 6 wins from 6 games, they boast an impressive 28 goals scored and a clean sheet – not a single goal conceded throughout the competition.
Eesa Amjid continues to reign supreme as the competition's top goal scorer with a staggering 10 goals, closely followed by teammate Azeem Amir with 6 goals.
'It was fantastic to have such an enthusiastic crowd supporting the tournament here at Hereford,' said RNC Hereford Head Coach Adam Bendall. 'The energy from the stands was truly electric, and it really encouraged the players to express themselves and thrive on the pitch. This is a special group of players, and they are proving themselves to be a force to be reckoned with in the EBFL.'
