RNC Retains Brian Aaron's Cup
RNC's Blind Football team showed grit and determination to beat Brighton & Hove Albion FC 3-0 and pick up the Brian Aaron's Cup for the 2021/22 season. Making RNC champions for the second year in a row.
Goals came from Dan English (2) and Owen Bainbridge (1).
RNC's captain, Owen Bainbridge, said:
'Great team performances today from everyone to allow us to win the Brian Aaron's Cup. It was a hard fought win, as all of the teams involved showed real quality and hunger.'
Thanks to Brighton & Hove Albion FC, Merseyside Blind & VI Football Club and West Bromwich Albion Bind Football team for competing and to
thePoint4
for hosting this year's competition.
Retaining the Brian Aaron's Cup means automatic qualification for RNC in the FA Disability Cup which will, again, be televised on BT Sport next summer.
Congratulations Team RNC:
Owen Bainbridge (captain)

Kieran Clarke
Dan English
