Nexus is a marketing agency from Worcester, who developed RNC's website and their Technical Director, John, came to discuss one of their latest projects with some of RNC's IT students with a view to getting their help to test the accessibility of a new App the company is working on.
In the coming weeks, our student test group will be undertaking some manual tests of the App, working through it to see how accessible the navigation is for users with visual impairment. The students will be given a test plan and will provide useful feedback and suggest improvements, if necessary.
As part of their studies, students are required to work on projects like this, so to have experience working on live projects with real businesses has a really positive impact, putting the theory from the classroom into practice, which builds and enhances the students knowledge and confidence.
