Ryan Kelly

Ryan Kelly is best known for playing the role of Jack "Jazzer" McCreary in the BBC Radio 4 soap, The Archers. He has played this character since 2000.

Blind from birth, Ryan studied drama at RNC and in 1997, against fierce competition, obtained a place at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, becoming the School's first totally blind student in its history.

In 2011, Ryan was the inaugural recipient of the Tyzack Award at the Ability Media International awards. The award recognises writers, producers and performers who 'transcend the stereotypical'.
